I did a beginner's yoga class last week. In the class there was a 50-something man who wanted to try this "yoga thing." There was a guy in his 30s who could do it better than everyone including the instructor. An Aspergers-y guy who kept asking questions. There was also the only woman I've ever met who has never done yoga before. I was in my too short t-shirt and too puffy shorts and was thinking "yoga is hard." Next time I'm going to do the level 3 class. Just to fuck with the system.
Oh God, what if a cyclist speeds through here?
I like your hands next to my body. It's an e. e. cummings poem and I've been thinking a lot about it these last couple of days. Sometimes though you have to gently let go of things that are not meant for you.
Today is a beautiful, sunny day.
Today I got my nose pierced.
In 4 days I leave for Italy to discovery the Cinque Terre coast where my mother was born and raised. I'm accompanying here there where we will drive along from Genoa till we hit Marine di Vaviara where we'll stay at a b&b housed in the orphanage/boarding school she spent 15+ years in. I expect to roam it at night with her and get up to all the mischief she was so famous for. Maybe we'll get yelled at by a nun. Yes. Hopefully.
These two girls are quite interesting. And their clothes are eye-catching. I wonder where she got her jacket from. Hmm.
"Like flies to children they kill us for their wanton sport." -- Lear. Act 2, scene??? Bugger it!
It's my first day back in Toronto since last year. Feels comfortably familiar, yet altogether new! A deep appreciation for this city and its people. :)
Today is tomorrow which was yesterday. I was your brother and your cousin and your great grandfather. Live in the moment and treat everyone like you ARE them.
Plastic bags have their own purpose to fill. They contain and trap all the garbage we throw out. In essence, making the world slightly more beautiful.
I have just had the best trip in Toronto. I have learnt things about myself I never knew before & I will remember this forever!
I like drummers (they are really cool).
My name is very hard to pronounce.
I have 8 sisters and 3 brothers.
When I visit New York I feel alive. I grew up there so it feels like home to me.
