I absolutely love cats. I have two of them, so I'm not sure if that makes me crazy.
I wish time could speed up career paths... but I wish time would slow down for everyone to enjoy their childhood.
I think the world is a lot more beautiful than we give it credit for.
Cats are the best. They are angels with fur.
1994, heard about Canada! 2004, came to Canada. 2006, lived on my own for the first time! 2007, terrified! 2009, finished school, still terrified. 2010, came to Toronto. 2011, realizing I should go back to Ottawa to get her. :) 2012, lived in Toronto together, sealed the deal, got married. 2014, ten years after having come to Canada, feeling blessed, lucky and not terrified anymore. :)
The biggest lesson I have learned in my life is to be open to change and the opportunity it brings for self-growth (emotional, spiritual, mental) and overall self & life improvement. Whatever is happening in life - 'good' or 'bad' - is bound to end, therefore reminding me to always be present in my 'right now', as it will change and there will be another lesson in that 'now,' then.
Sometimes I think it would be nice to still be a baby.
It's my first time to Toronto. I'm from China. I like Kensington Market. I like travelling. People here are really nice.
We met online 5 months ago. I am *so* in love with him.
Is change necessary for the sake of doing something different? How long is a wallet really good for? Is it truly when it breaks that you should get a new one, or do we need to stretch our possessions out longer?
When I was 7, I buried 100 toads in my back yard. My mom told me they hibernate underground, so I thought I'd get them there faster.
My name is Alex and one time I shit myself in Haiti.
When I was younger I would go outside during the rain and try to save all the worms that washed onto the ground. I didn't want them to get squished!
I re-built the Mayan calendar. It's at this blog: www.wizzzeeee.blogspot.ca
Kensington Market is one of my favourite spots in Toronto. Just showing it to my friend D, who is here visiting from the States. He thinks Toronto is full of hipsters and the boys wear really short shorts. Also, the girls are really 'hot'.
I just returned from a job interview at the English language's longest palindrome.
Recently married the love of my life, and had a baby girl - all in my '40s! Never imagined my life to turn out so amazingly wonderful. Oh, and we're vegan and save animals in our spare time.
Just so happy and carefree, I can't think of anything to write here.
I'm a vegetarian who was in a coma 7 months ago and almost died. Being vegetarian helped save my life. Enjoy life, baby! Belief is the best gift we have.
